Michael means: Who is like God ?
He is the big ruler of the heavenly hosts and the protector of the Christian church as well as the fighter of all the forces which are hostile against God. He is especially called on as the advocate of the souls during as well as after death.
Saint of the Catholic Church, of the German people, the poor souls, the chemists, the businessmen, the bakers, the bank employees, the radio experts and so on.
The woodcarved figure is elaborated accurately and artistically painted. The wings and parts of the coat are covered with real gold.

ART. 6 - ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL
Raphael means: medicine of God
Saint Raphael is called on as courier of travellers, assistant in illness, adviser in the choice of the right partner and in married life.
Saint of the pilgrims, the travellers, the chemists, the sick people (eye complaints), the bridal and married couples.

Gabriel means: God’s messenger
Archangel Gabriel plays an important role in the story of the saints. He is the one who announces the Virgin Mary the birth of the Redeemer. He is called on against marital infertility.
Saint of the employees of the telecommunication service, post office officials, stamp collectors.
